Boynton Beach is just north of Delray Beach and is gearing up for beachfront redevelopment. Dating back to the late 1800s, Nathan Boynton was impressed by the pristine beaches, tropical climate, and natural beauty of the area. In time, pineapples, tomatoes, mangos, and citrus fruit were grown and as luck would have it shipped by the ton on the newly built Florida East Coast Railroad.

Boynton Beach is the third largest city in Palm Beach County with approximately 78,000 residents. Residents enjoy a tropical Florida lifestyle with restaurants galore, many on the oceanfront/waterfront.

The City manages 29 parks, 8 recreation centers, a swimming pool, a municipal beach, and programs for youth, teens, adults, and seniors. Currently, Boynton Beach has 5 major developments taking place in the City: Ocean 500, Riverwalk Plaza, Ocean One, Villages East Ocean, and Town Square. A thriving and emerging micro-brewery sector with 4 successful breweries is welcomed by locals and tourists.

The city’s mission to foster Art in Public Places has been a success. This program’s purpose is to integrate the arts into the greater community. There have been over 80+ artworks in public places, including the Avenue of the Arts year-long rotating outdoor exhibition, unique indoor art exhibits, and the Boynton Beach Arts District.

The city is blossoming now with new home developments to the west and downtown projects to the east.
