Watercrest

 

Watercrest, built by Standard and Pacific, is the newest luxury home community in Parkland’s northwestern “wedge”. It offers residents a beautiful clubhouse with resort-style amenities, a fitness center, pool, tennis, and basketball courts, and 24-hour security. It consists of 558 single-family homes and is managed by an HOA or homeowners’ association.

 

Watercrest is stunning. Many of the homes are built around a central 150-acre lake and have beautiful panoramic water views.

 

 

This new development offers luxury single-family one and two-story homes ranging in size from 2,022 to over 4,000 square feet of gorgeous living space. These homes are more contemporary in look and feel – fresh and modern and very in demand. The front elevations may be Mediterranean or Italian-inspired with elegant front and back balconies.

 

Many of the interiors feature large square porcelain tile floors or porcelain wood plank floors in soft grey and white. Watercrest is close to the Park Trails Elementary School, Westglades Middle School, and Stoneman Douglas High School – perhaps 5-10 minutes. Please check the Broward School website for up-to-date information on schools.

 

Within 5 minutes residents can be shopping at Publix the main grocery store, and Walmart, with easy access to the Sawgrass Expressway which takes you to both I95 and the Florida Turnpike and is no more than 7 minutes away by car. Residents are only 15 minutes to the Boca Raton Towne Center Mall and about 20 minutes to the Sawgrass Mills Mall. The beach is 20 minutes due east.

 

The Fort Lauderdale airport is 30 minutes southeast; Miami airport is 45 minutes south; Palm Beach airport is 1 hour northeast.
