Welcome to Cypresshead
In Cypress Head, you will find a beautiful, 671-acre community with a central 62+ acre lake with homes on its many projecting land fingers. The original design of this neighborhood planned for the large lake and projecting fingers where more houses than not could be built on acre-plus lots to take advantage of the water views.
There are about 466 custom-built homes in Cypresshead which range from 2500 square feet under air to over 6500 square feet. It is one of the few Parkland neighborhoods with big, beautiful lots. An older neighborhood, Cypress Head has undergone a renaissance with homes being totally remodeled and expanded, and new luxurious pools and patios with tropical landscaping added to become the norm. Cypress Head is low-key, offering privacy for its residents.
The neighborhood has beautiful, lush mature trees and landscaping and flowers which are routinely changed with the seasons. Homes sit on about an acre of land offering great outdoor space. Homes on the lake have spectacular views and nature abounds with fish, birds, otters, etc. Many non-water lots are wooded and/or protected with privacy hedges. There is a manned guard gate with 24×7 top security.
This community has a waterfront clubhouse with a large community pool, fishing pier, tennis and basketball courts, and volleyball in the sand. There is a children’s play yard. This is an active tennis community for adults and children with many tennis courts and a tennis pro. Tennis lessons with a pro and round robins are routinely scheduled. There is a community gathering typically in October for everyone. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and food abound. The lake offers a great opportunity for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing for Peacock bass.
The Cypress Head HOA has a social committee and the social events have been fantastic: Music on the lawn; cooking nights; card games; community picnics; Halloween at the Clubhouse; yoga; and “learn to” events. There are several community gatherings typically in the summer and in October for everyone. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and food abound. The HOA planning committee continues to be proactive. What I would describe as “soft or rubber-like” walking paths have been places for great walking, jogging, and biking around the main preserve area.
The children’s play yard has swings, and slides and is loved. The new building next to the tennis basketball and sand volleyball area hosts yoga classes. Cypress Head is one of the most popular Parkland communities in which to reside. There is a main entrance/exit gate and and back exit-only gate that leads directly to Riverglades Elementary School on Parkside Drive.
Cypress Head is very near to roughly seven miles of bridle paths which leads to the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge. From Cypress Head, there is easy access to the Sawgrass, Turnpike, and I 95. It is also near to the city’s Quigley Tennis Center.
